BJP MP Was Locked In-Stadium Over Unpaid Reward In UP Shahjahanpur


Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh: Here, some players locked BJP MP Arun Sagar in a stadium. These players had come to participate in the ongoing ‘MP Sports Competition’ in the stadium. They allege that neither they got proper food nor did they get a reward for winning sports competitions. The players also protested fiercely regarding this.

What is the whole matter?

According to the report of news agency PTI, this sports competition was organized on November 21. According to the players, it was announced to reward ranging from 11 thousand to 51 thousand rupees.

On November 25, the last day of this sports competition was. According to the report, MP Arun Sagar came to the stadium on the previous day of the competition. As soon as he arrived, the players started protesting.


Not only this, but the players also closed the main gate of the stadium from outside. Due to this, MP Arun Sagar got stuck inside the stadium. Later the police took them out. Meanwhile, angry players also tore the hoardings and banners of MP Arun Sagar outside the stadium.

Shahjahanpur’s ASP Sanjay Kumar told news agency PTI that he had received a stir in the stadium. After which, the police team was sent. According to Kumar, the team explained to the protesting players, extinguished it and then took out the MP Arun Sagar.

What did the MP say about the incident?

At the same time, MP Arun Sagar tried to present this whole incident as a minor incident. He called it a conspiracy of his opponents. Talking to the local media, the MP said,


“Some anti-social elements of the opposing party instigated the defeated players. Enraged by the success of the sporting event, the opponents hatched a conspiracy to defame us. The police stationed there closed the stadium’s main gate, so those anti-social elements could not come inside and provoke the players.

The defeated players said that they should also be given prizes and cash. The jury gave them prizes based on the list of winning players and teams. Talks were held with the players, and they were explained and pacified.
