From April 10, people in the 18+ age group will be able to get a booster dose of the corona. The booster dose will be available at all private vaccination centres. In addition, booster doses for health workers, frontline workers and 60+ age groups will continue along with the ongoing free vaccination program through government immunization centres for the first and second doses. According to the information, the 18+ age group will be able to get a booster dose by visiting private vaccination centres. Those above the age of 18 years who have taken the second dose and have completed nine months will be able to get a booster dose.
So far, about 96% of all 15+ population have received at least one corona vaccine, while about 83% of the 15+ age group have taken both doses. More than 2.4 crore booster doses have also been given to healthcare workers, frontline workers and 60+ age groups. 45% of the people in the age group of 12 to 14 years have also taken the first dose.

Corona situation in India
