There will be a 760 km long high-speed railway track under the Varanasi-Howrah bullet train project. On this route, the bullet train will go to Howrah via Varanasi, Patna, Barddhaman. For this, survey work is being done on the Dhanbad railway section in Jharkhand also.
According to media reports, if everything goes well, the bullet train will pass through Buxar, Ara, Patna, Bihar Sharif and Nawada. There is also a possibility of a bullet train stopping here. However, it hasn’t been decided yet. National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited is in the process of preparing the detailed project report.
Let us inform that the businessmen of Patna had demanded the extension of the Delhi-Varanasi Bullet Train Project from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Patna. The work of this project is expected to be completed earlier. Bihar Chamber of Commerce says that the benefit of connecting Patna with bullet train early will benefit a large population.
This will boost business activities in the state. Under the Varanasi-Howrah bullet train project, it has been decided to include many cities, including the capital of Bihar. The survey work for the Varanasi-Howrah High-Speed Rail Network has been entrusted to a consortium of Tila Consultants and Contractors Pvt Ltd and Monarch Surveyors and Engineering Consultants Pvt Ltd.
