Accident while coming from Sahibganj towards Manihari
According to media reports, on Thursday night, a cargo ship was going from Sahibganj towards Manihari. Suddenly, in the Manihari area of Katihar, the ship started becoming uncontrollable, and on seeing it, it got absorbed in the Ganges. There were dozens of trucks on this ship that was laden with stones. It is said that these ships have been travelling daily by riding such trucks.
NDRF squad leaves from Deoghar
There was a stir in the administration due to the information of the ship sinking in the river. The Sahebganj and Katihar administration immediately swung into action. The help of NDRF has also been sought. After getting the information, there is information about the departure of the NDRF squad from Deoghar. Many people are said to be missing in this incident.
Many missing including truck driver and helper
The ship’s personnel with which the accident happened are also missing, along with the drivers and helpers of those trucks who were on board that ship is also missing. There is no official confirmation from the administration yet that how many people are missing.
