China has kidnapped a 17-year-old boy from Arunachal Pradesh. State MP Tapir Gao gave information about this on Wednesday. At the same time, Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi has surrounded the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the centre on this issue. He has said, ‘The foolish silence of the Prime Minister is his statement.’ At the same time, the Congress leader has said that he is standing with the family of the kidnapped teenager.
Rahul Gandhi tweeted and said, ‘A few days before Republic Day, a fortune maker of India has been kidnapped by China, we are with the family of Miram Taron and will not give up hope, will not give up. PM’s stupid silence is his statement – he doesn’t care! Congress leaders have always been attackers on the Modi government regarding India’s ongoing border dispute with China. There has been tension on the border between India and China (India-China Border Dispute) for almost 20 months.

What did MP Tapir Gao say?
Arunachal Pradesh MP Tapir Gao said on Wednesday that the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China had kidnapped a 17-year-old teenager from the Upper Siang district of Indian territory in the state. Gao said the kidnapped teen had been identified as Miram Taron. He said that the Chinese Army kidnapped the teenager from the Lungta Jor area of the Siyungla area.
According to news agency PTI, the MP told Ziro, the district headquarters of Lower Subansiri district, that Taron’s friend Johny Yaiying, who had managed to escape from the PLA, informed the local authorities about the abduction. He said that both the teenagers are residents of Zido village. The MP said that the incident occurred near the Tsangpo river entering India in Arunachal Pradesh.
Earlier on Tuesday, Gao shared information about the kidnapping of the teenager by tweeting. He shared the picture of the kidnapped juvenile along with the tweet and said, “Request to all agencies of the Government of India to ensure the early release of the juvenile.” Gao also said that he had informed the Union Minister of State for Home Nishith Pramanik about the incident.
In 2020 Also, PLA Kidnapped Five Youths
In September 2020, the PLA kidnapped five youths from the Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh and released them after about a week. This matter has come to the fore when tension between the Indian Army and the PLA has continued in eastern Ladakh since April 2020. India shares a 3,400-km-long Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China from Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh.
