Uttarakhand Cloudburst: Uttaranchal ( Uttarakhand Cloud Burst ) of cloudburst in the Nainital district of Ramgarh village emerged. According to the State Emergency Operation Center, 17 people have died in different incidents related to the rain last night in the Nainital district. Many people are feared trapped under the debris due to the cloudburst. The police and administration team has reached the spot. Rescue work continues. The injured have been rescued from the rubble.
The Secretary of, Disaster Management Department says that Air Force helicopters will be deployed to speed up the ongoing rescue operations in Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar. According to Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar, about 100 people were trapped in the Lemon Tree Resort on the Ramnagar-Ranikhet road. They are all safe, and the process of saving them is on. Due to the river’s overflow, the water of the Kosi river entered the resort, the way to the resort was closed.
SSP Preeti Priyadarshini said that some injured had been rescued from the cloud burst in Ramgarh village of Nainital district; the actual number of people who may be buried under the debris is yet to be known. At the same time, due to the overflow of Nainital lake, the roads of Nainital have been flooded. Waterlogging is also being seen in buildings and houses. The area is receiving continuous heavy rain.
Ganga’s water level reached above the danger mark.
Due to the rain in the mountains for the last two days, the water level of the Ganges has reached above the danger mark. Ganga is flowing 0.35 meters above its danger mark of 294 meters at 294.35 meters. Due to the rising water level of the Ganges, the areas adjacent to the Ganges in Haridwar have been alerted.

The water level of the Kosi river at Kosi barrage is 139000 cusecs, which is well above the danger mark. The danger mark at Kosi barrage is 80000 cusecs.
On the other hand, in Haldwani, the approach bridge over the river was broken due to the flooding of the Gola River. Due to which the movement has stopped there. In Tanakpur, the crusher road has taken the form of a drain from the rise of the Sharda river. On Tuesday morning, the water level of the Gola river crossed 90 thousand cusecs.

The rise in the water level of the river has posed a threat to the Gola Barrage. Due to the rain, the drain also came in spate, due to which a house built on the bank of the drain was washed away.
