Uttarakhand Election 2022: After the defeat of the Congress party in Uttarakhand, resigning has started. Jharkhand MLA Dipika Pandey Singh has resigned from the post of co-in-charge of Uttarakhand and national secretary of the party. In a tweet, Congress MLA from Mahgama Assembly of Jharkhand, Dipika Pandey Singh, expressing gratitude to the party, has taken responsibility for the defeat in the Uttarakhand assembly elections. Said that the leadership allowed serving the party at the national level and thanked the party leadership for this.

Let us tell you that in the Uttarakhand assembly elections 2022, the Congress party had high hopes of returning to power. All party workers worked hard from their level, yet the result did not favour the party. Congress got 19 seats out of 70 seats in Uttarakhand, while BJP emerged as the largest party with 47 seats. At the same time, other parties got only four seats.
Former CM Harish Rawat and Uttarakhand Congress State President Ganesh Godiyal have also faced defeat. Due to this, the state president Mr Godiyal is also talking about resigning. Party workers are excited about BJP forming the government for the second time in Uttarakhand.
