4067 Coronavirus Cases, 693 New Cases In 24 Hours, 109 Deaths Do Far

On Monday, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, while addressing a press conference on the condition of coronavirus in the country, said that 693 new cases of coronavirus had reported in the country since Sunday. Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Lav Aggarwal told that 4067 people had been infected with this deadly virus in the country so far.

Coronavirus Cases In India

Secretary said that so far 109 people have died due to this dangerous virus in the country. He said that out of 4067 cases in the country, 1445 cases related to Tablighi Jamaat. Of all the people infected with the coronavirus in India, 76% of the patients are male, and 24% are female.

The Health Secretary said over 63 years of the death of 63 per cent of the dead. 109 people died due to coronavirus in the country, out of which 30 died yesterday. Sixty-three per cent of those who died were above 60 years of age. 30 per cent of those who died were between 40 and 60 years old. Seven per cent of the people who died from the same corona were under 40 years of age.

Sugar, Salt and Oil Transported

The Secretary said that in the last 13 days in India, amidst the lockdown. The railways have loaded sugar in 1340 coaches. Salt in 958 coaches and oil in 316 coaches and transported to different parts of the country. He said that 1100 crore rupees have already released from the National Health Mission Fund for the states. Also, an additional amount of Rs 3000 crore has released today.
