Further, the Chief Minister of Delhi said that work would be done on 6 points in the capital, which will help in making the Yamuna clean. We are focusing on cleaning the sewer. The old treatment plant is being changed. It is not good that drains flow on the road in Delhi. No one will like this. Attention is being paid to cleaning the dirty gutters of Delhi. We will clean some drains while some will do the work of diverting them.
Kejriwal said that work would be done to crack down on the industry’s waste. Many industries show something else on paper and do something else. It will be necessary to send the industry waste for treatment. If the rule is not followed, then action will be taken against such an industry. He said that the filth of the slum is thrown into the drains, which will be closed. It will be attached to the sewer. We are increasing the capacity of sewer treatment.
He said that the work of cleaning four dirty drains is going on. With the help of technology, the drains will be cleaned. The Chief Minister said that the dirty water from the ‘jhuggi-jhopri’ would be connected to the sewer network, whose water now goes into the Yamuna. The government will provide domestic ‘connections’ in areas where there is a sewer network. Earlier, consumers had to take the ‘connection’ themselves.
