The North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) organised a program on Sunday. Union Minister Jitendra Singh was present as the chief guest in the program. NDMC Education Committee Chairman Dr Alok Sharma said that the name of ‘NDMC Primary School 7-B’ located in Sector-7 of Rohini had been changed to ‘Shaheed Tika Lal Taploo’. He was an unsung hero. Who was Tika Lal Taploo
Let us tell you that Taploo was shot dead in 1989 in Srinagar. This incident has also been mentioned in the film ‘The Kashmir Files’. He said that the inspiration to name the school after him came from this film.
Union Minister Jitendra Singh said that the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits was followed by heavy violence. This was followed by voting in 1996. The National Conference and Congress manipulated it. On this occasion, the Mayor of North Delhi Raja Iqbal Singh, BJP MLA Vijender Gupta were present. MLA Vijender Gupta said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has refused to declare ‘The Kashmir Files’ as a tax-free film and has also shown insensitivity towards Kashmiri Hindus.
