It is raining heavily in many parts of Maharashtra these days. And not only Maharashtra, but it is also raining in all the states of the country. The situation in Kerala is dire. Nearby rivers are in spate due to rain in the Hingoli district of Maharashtra.
And this is the season of soybeans over there. The soybean crop of the farmers has been cut. In such a situation, when the flood water of the Kayadu river entered the Hingoli district, heaps of soybean piles started flowing.
Farmers Saves Soybean Crop
Meanwhile, a video surfaced, in which the farmer is seen trying to save the soybean crop by risking his life in the floodwaters. The video is from the Kalamnuri area of Hingoli. According to India Today reporter Dnyaneshwar Undal, when this farmer’s heap of soybean started flowing in the floodwater, he started trying to save it by going to the heap with the help of a boat.

But the boat in which the farmer was sitting, that boat went ahead and overturned. The farmer started flowing in the flood water with his crop. Some journalists are writing on social media that he kept flowing with the produce for 12 kilometres. The people gathered around somehow saved the farmer.
Soybean crops in Vidarbha and Marathwada have suffered a lot due to rains. A video of a farmer from Patur Nandpur village in the Akola district of Vidarbha has also surfaced. Desperate due to crop failure, the distressed farmer is crying, saying that the entire crop has been ruined and how he will run the family. Soybean is also produced on a large scale in Madhya Pradesh. There too, the rains in many parts have increased the concern of the farmers.
