Massive Fire Broke Out in Factory in Narela Industrial Area


A fire broke out in a factory in the Narela Industrial Area of ​​Delhi’s capital at around 7:15 am on Saturday. According to reports, the factory where the fire broke out used to make paper plates. The fire was so fierce that its plume of smoke was visible from afar. However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade vehicles reached the spot.

According to the Delhi Fire Service, the fire started on the first floor of the building. At present, 33 fire brigade vehicles are present on the spot, and the operation is on to control the situation. The fire was so terrible that panic spread in the surrounding factories, and a plume of black smoke covered the sky.

The exact estimate of the damage caused by the fire is not yet known. The police team also reached the spot. Due to the explosion in this building, the building collapsed, and three firemen got burnt, and one fireman got leg injuries. All the firemen are being shifted to Gangaram Hospital.

Third fire incident in the last 24 hours in the capital Delhi

Significantly, this is the third fire incident that has happened in Delhi in the previous 24 hours. At the same time, a day ago, i.e. on Friday at around 3:45 pm, there was a fire in the Harkesh Nagar area of ​​Okhla Phase-2. To control the fire, 17 fire brigade vehicles were sent there. However, the fire was brought under control after a lot of effort.

Goods worth lakhs were burnt to ashes in a massive fire in the showroom.

Apart from this, a fire broke out in an electronics showroom and adjacent sanitary fitting showroom at Shiv Bazar near Madhuban Chowk in Pitampura at around 8:30 pm on Friday. No casualty was reported in this fire as well. After receiving information about the fire, 16 vehicles of the fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control after hours of hard work. According to the local people, goods worth lakhs kept in the showroom were burnt to ashes due to the fire.
