AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi Says Shots Fired At His Vehicle In Meerut


Three-four rounds of firing took place on the vehicle of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, who left for Delhi after finishing his program in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections. Asaduddin Owaisi himself has claimed to fire on the vehicle by tweeting.

Owaisi tweeted, ‘Some time ago shots were fired at my car at Chhijarsi toll gate. Four rounds were fired. There were 3-4 people, all of them ran away and left the weapons there. My car got punctured, but I got out of there sitting in another vehicle. We are all safe. Alhamdulillah

Firing on Asaduddin Owaisi Car

Police and officers have reached the spot as soon as the information about Owaisi’s car was shot. In this case, the police have taken a youth into custody. According to Additional SP Hapur, Sachin, a resident of Noida, had been fired along with his partner. He said that a 9 mm pistol had been recovered from Sachin, who was taken into custody. Sources say that the secretary was angry with Owaisi’s statements, due to which he has taken this step.

An independent inquiry into the matter

After firing on the convoy, Owaisi said that we are telling both the Modi government and the state government that it is their responsibility to conduct an independent investigation into the matter. How can it be that four rounds are fired at an MP? Some time ago, there was a talk with the Additional SP; he has said that a person had been caught, the weapon had also been recovered.

We request the Election Commission to conduct an independent inquiry into this matter. At the same time, Hapur SP Deepak Bhukar said that after the attack on Asaduddin Owaisi’s car, the police immediately reached the spot and detained a suspect in the case. Weapons have also been recovered. One of his accomplices has fled; the search is on for him.

Elections will be held

In the schedule issued by the Election Commission, it has been said that in the first phase of voting in UP on February 10, second phase on February 14, third phase on February 20, fourth phase 23 February, fifth phase 27 February, sixth phase 3 Voting for the March and seventh phase will be held on March 7. At the same time, the counting of votes will take place on March 10.
