Flood in Prayagraj: The water level of both the Ganga and Yamuna rivers is increasing rapidly in the Sangam city of Prayagraj. However, both the rivers are still about one meter below the danger mark. With the speed of the rise of the rivers, it is feared that both the rivers will cross the danger mark by Sunday morning. Administration’s claim
The administration has claimed to have taken all precautionary measures. Along with SDRF and NDRF, divers of police and PAC have also been deployed. Around 100 flood relief posts have been opened. Helpline numbers have also been issued by setting up control rooms.
