Gurugram Police arrested the cow smugglers after following 22 km. As soon as the cow smugglers are detected, they are being chased. They started throwing cows one by one from the moving truck. The smugglers were doing this so that the chasing cow protector and the police car overturned.
The video of the incident is going viral on social media. The police had put up a blockade in Bhondsi. The smugglers first stopped the Tata 407 and then tried to escape. But after a 22-km chase, the police caught five of the six smugglers.
When the claim of throwing the cows did not work, and the cow smugglers thought that the police would catch them, the two smugglers jumped down from the flyover to save their lives. The arms and legs of both the smugglers have been fractured. The names of the accused are being told as Ballu, Taslim, Papa, Shahid and Khalid. All are residents of Nuh of Mewat.
Cows also got injuries.
According to the information, the incident is being told from 8-9 April. DCP Crime Gurugram Rajiv Desalwal has said that the police had received information about a 6-7 cow theft near Sector 29. After this, the police had put up a blockade. On the way, the accused dropped the cows as the PCR van was behind them. He said that the cows got hurt due to being dropped from the truck, and they are being treated.
Five shells and one live cartridge were recovered.
According to media reports, a country-made pistol, five shells, and one live cartridge have been recovered from the accused. According to the information, when the police were chasing the cow smugglers, their car’s tire was also torn. But he did not stop the vehicle. On Saturday, the police arrested five cow smugglers in the incident.
One of these smugglers had also fired on cow protectors. A Gau Rakshak said that while chasing the smugglers’ car, the tire got punctured due to a stone hit; he did not stop and started running towards Sohna. All the smugglers have been arrested, sent to jail, and registered a case.
