After this heavy rain, which lasted for about an hour, the streets were flooded due to which people had to face a double attack of cold. At the same time, after the rain, there was a sharp drop in the temperature.

In the afternoon, the weather took a turn, and the clouds came, and it started raining at around 2.30 pm. What began with a drizzle turned into gram-sized hailstones, passing through thick drops.

The rain and hailstorm in this winter season increased the despair on the faces of the farmers. Due to hailstorms, the standing crops of cumin, isabgol, Raya, wheat and gram have suffered a lot in the fields. Some farmers said that although the rain of Mawth is beneficial for the farmers, the hailstorm accompanied by rain is dangerous for the crops.
