The cases of corona infection in India are continually increasing. Meanwhile, the central government has increased the capacity of corona testing significantly. With this, the Union Health Ministry has started the first Corona Testing Mobile Lab. This testing lab will go to remote areas of the country and do testing. This mobile lab not only has Corona’s testing facility, but it can also check for TB and HIV.

The mobile lab has been named Infectious Disease Diagnostic Lab, i.e., I-LAB. This mobile testing lab can have 25 RT-PCR tests, 300 ELISA tests in a day.

It specially designed for sending and testing in far-flung areas. It has prepared in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. Let me tell you that till February 1, there was only one lab for testing corona in India, but today there are 953 government and private labs. At the same time, due to the testing facility in these labs, the capacity of three lakh tests in India has been made daily.

This mobile testing lab was flagged off by Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan today. The Health Minister said, “We started the battle of Kovid Testing with a lab on February 1. Today we have 953 labs across the country. Out of these 953, about 699 are government labs. Such innovations have developed to ensure test facilities in remote areas. “

So far, 62,49,668 samples have taken for testing in India. At the same time, 1,65,412 samples have made in the last 24 hours. At present, there are 953 labs in India where testing facilities are available, out of which 699 are government labs while 254 are private labs.
