An Indian Army helicopter crashed in the morning near the Pathankot district of Punjab. The aircraft crashed directly into the Ranjit Sagar Dam. At the same time, no information has been received about how many people were in the helicopter during this crash and what happened to the pilot. However, police and administration have reached the spot. Army personnel have also reached the site, and the rescue operation is going on.

It is to be known that this accident happened around 10.20 minutes today, i.e. Tuesday morning. This helicopter of the Army’s Avon Squadron took off from Mamun Cantt. The helicopter was very close to the Ranjit Sagar Dam when it crashed. According to the information received, due to hitting the hill, it fell straight into the dam.

One such case came to light in the last month of May. There was news of a fighter jet MiG 21 crash between 1-2 pm in the town of Baghapurana in Moga, Punjab. Pilot Abhinav aboard the jet, had taken a MiG 21 flight from Suratgarh in Rajasthan from Halwara to Suratgarh. The plane crashed in Langiana Khurd village near Baghapurana.
The Air Force said that pilot Abhinav Chaudhary has died due to severe injuries in this accident. Expressing grief over this accident, IAF told that they stand with the family of the pilot.
