ISRO Center Established at NIT Patna
He said that in the entire zone, we could not find any better institute than NIT Patna. Now we have to move beyond the old way of thinking in research and think practically. That is, work will be done on problem-solving research.
Now innovation has to be brought in research as well. Have to think out of the box. I sincerely hope that the participation of NIT Patna will be good. We have to lay the foundation for the coming generation from today itself. Otherwise, the future generation will not forgive us.
NIT Patna Director Prof PK Jain said that Patna would become a mentor institute for space research in the eastern region by establishing this centre. Dr MA Paul, Associate Director, Response and AI CBPO, ISRO, said that with the establishment of the Regional Academic Center for Space, only Indian products would be used in space.
Students will be able to give ideas for research projects
BTech, MTech and PhD students will also be able to provide ideas for research projects. They will submit their project ideas through the faculty only so that even if they leave the college, the project does not stop. There will be two types of projects. Short term projects will be of one year and &D projects of more than one year.
Manpuran Mahto, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, NIT Patna, said that he and his team were engaged in tying up for the past year. Last year the survey of NITs was done through the online visit.
