KRK’s Reaction on Hijab Controversy
Tweeted and wrote – My wife and daughter do not wear hijab or burqa. I believe that girls should not wear burqa in school and college. But still it should be the choice of girls, whatever they want to wear. No one should be forced about food and clothes. This reaction of KRK is getting mixed response from the people.

Javed Akhtar had asked the protesters this question.
Earlier, Javed Akhtar had given his response on the hijab controversy by tweeting. He had questioned the manhood of people threatening the girl wearing a burqa in a viral video. Javed Akhtar had written – I have never been in favor of burqa and hijab. I still stand by my stand. But at the same time I condemn the goons who try to intimidate those small group of girls. Is this masculinity according to them? This is regrettable.
I have never been in favour of Hijab or Burqa. I still stand by that but at the same time I have nothing but deep contempt for these mobs of hooligans who are trying to intimidate a small group of girls and that too unsuccessfully. Is this their idea of “MANLINESS” . What a pity

Many Bollywood and TV celebs have reacted sharply to the hijab controversy. These include stars like Divya Agarwal, Richa Chadha, Swara Bhaskar, Onir, Urfi Javed. The big celebs of the film industry have remained silent on this controversy so far. No one has reacted. People have also criticized the superstars of B-town regarding this. It has to be seen whether there is any reaction from their side on this issue which has become political.
