Lockdown 2.0: Given the increasing risk of corona infection, the central government has extended the period of ongoing lockdown in the country. It has done until May 3. There is some concession from the government for agriculture, village and farmers. In this guideline, some things have relaxed after April 20. In the instruction issued by the ministry, social, agricultural, financial and financial sectors, along with other areas mentioned for them.
Bank, ATM Said This
According to the new guidelines issued by the Home Ministry, the RBI will continue to function as before. The guidance states that banks and ATMs will also work as before. No changes have made in the new guidelines. The increased Lockdown 2.0 period will not affect them. These points have been emphasized by referring to the financial sector in the 7th point of the instructions issued.
Apart from RBI and RBI regulated financial markets, CCIL, NPCL, Payment system dealers will continue to do their work as before.
- Bank branches, ATMs, postal services will continue as before. IT vendors will also do their work for bank operations.
- Directors Benefit Transfer (DBT) work will do during regular working hours until completion.
- The bank will have to provide adequate security personnel to the local administration. Apart from this, social distancing will be taken care of in the branches of the bank.
- SEBI, Capital and debt market will continue to work as before.
- The work of IRDA and insurance companies will continue as before.
All these rules will apply only in those places where the area has not declared a hot spot or an infected area.
