The cut was done on February 1: Let us tell you, talking about the non-subsidized LGP (LPG), the National Oil Marketing Companies had cut the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 91.50 from February 1. After this deduction, the cost of a 19 kg commercial cylinder in Delhi runs at Rs 1907. But now, after the increase in its price, the new rate will be applicable.
Prices did not increase due to elections 2022: Due to the Russia-Ukraine war, the cost of petroleum products has increased worldwide (LPG Price Hike). However, due to elections in five states, its price has not been raised. After the last phase of UP elections on March 7, its price may increase in such a situation.
It is worth noting that on the first of every month, oil companies revise the price of LPG. In January 2022, the price of commercial gas was cut, but it increased in February. After this increase, from March 1, 2022, a 19 kg LPG cylinder will be available in Delhi for Rs 2012 instead of Rs 1907. Whereas, instead of Rs 1987 in Kolkata, its new price will be Rs 2095. At the same time, its price in Mumbai has increased to Rs 1963.
