The central government had decided to increase the gas price on the first day of the month, but suddenly the price was raised on August 17. Gas agency operators are also surprised by this. On getting the information, oil marketing companies have increased the prices of 14.2 kg LPG LPG cylinders by Rs 25 from Tuesday. This cylinder was being available in Bhopal for Rs 840.50, which has become Rs 865.50 from today.

The cylinder in Bhopal is more expensive than capital Delhi

The cost of an LPG cylinder is being paid in Bhopal more than the capcountry’s capital Delhi. At the same time, in Delhi and Mumbai on July 1, the price of a cylinder was Rs 834.50. If 25 rupees is added to this, then it reaches a maximum of 860 rupees.

Recently Congress did a unique performance.

Against the rising inflation and this increased price of LPG, the opposition Congress of the state has demonstrated three to four times across the state, including the capital Bhopal. At the same time, former minister Jitu Patwari has even cycled on the roads of Bhopal. Regarding this, Congress had given the slogan ‘Ab ki Baar, all-round inflation ki maar’.

The prices were increased by Rs 175 per cylinder in two and a half months from December 2020 to February. At the same time, in December 2020, the gas cylinder was Rs 594. Congressmen had demanded that the price of LPG, including petrol and diesel, should be reduced. The state government should decide to reduce these prices in its budget.
