Coronavirus continues to wreak havoc in Maharashtra. According to the Health Ministry data, at around 8 pm, 25,833 people have been infected with Corona in the last 24 hours. These are the highest number of cases registered in a day since the Corona cases came.

In the last 24 hours, 58 people have died due to coronavirus. The official said that so far, 23,96,340 people have been infected with the corona in the state. Of these, 21,75,565 people have recovered. Fifty-three thousand one hundred thirty-eight people have died.

Today only 2,877 people have been infected with Corona in Mumbai, and eight people have died. Let us know that on Wednesday, 23,179 people in Maharashtra were infected with the coronavirus.

Regarding the growing corona case in Maharashtra, experts say that this is the “second big wave”. According to news agency PTI, Hemant Deshmukh, Dean of KEM Hospital, said that the situation is now frightening due to the increase in infection cases. Deshmukh said on a TV channel, “It is not the first wave movement but the second big wave that is starting.”

He said that this time the death rate is low, which may be because the infectious capacity is low. He said, “The virus can constantly change its appearance, and certainly a different type of coronavirus is being generated. And a different type of Kovid-19 is coming out in March 2021.”
