Boat Capsized in Wardha River: Big news has come out from the Wardha district of Maharashtra. A major accident has occurred due to the overturning of a boat in the Wardha river. Eleven people are feared drowned in the accident. The incident took place near Jhunj village of Varud taluka of Benoda police station area. It is not known exactly how the boat sank.
The Boat Capsized in Wardha River
According to preliminary information, rivers have been in spate in Wardha district due to heavy rains for the last eight days. While going from one side of the river to the other, the boat met with an accident. It is feared that this accident may have happened due to more people in the boat than capacity.
There were more than 30 people in this boat. The boat sank in the middle of the river. During this, the local villagers immediately started relief work and rescued some people safely. So far, three bodies have been recovered, and the search is on for eight others.
As soon as the news of the boat sinking, a vast crowd gathered at the spot and searched, and rescue operations were in full swing. According to preliminary information, some family members had come to Gadegaon around 10 am for the Dasakriya ritual. When they were returning, the boat capsized. 11 people were feared drowned in the accident.
