In Madhya Pradesh, the cabinet on Thursday extended the deadline for repayment of the loan expiring on March 31 till April 15. In the state government, Home Minister Dr Narottam Mishra, in his tweet, has described it as a big decision in the interest of farmers. Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced in March itself that the government would pay the interest of the defaulter farmers in the state.
In his statement on the Governor’s address, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan made this announcement in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan had also targeted Congress fiercely while referring to the government’s achievements. During this, Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also presented an account of the work of the present government regarding the loss of loan waivers and the farmers for the last two years. Shivraj said that the Congress government had promised a loan waiver, which was not fulfilled, and due to this, farmers have also become defaulters.

Apart from this, Narottam Mishra also gave information about other cabinet matters. He said that the Madhya Pradesh cabinet had approved the proposal to implement the proposed RTC model for public transport in rural areas of the state as a pilot in the Vidisha district. He said that this model of rural transport credit would be the first such model in the country.
Minister in the Madhya Pradesh government, Mishra, said that the proposal to implement a temporary/temporary arrangement had been approved to ensure the availability of sand. Preference will be given to such mines for e-auction, with statutory clearances and Mining Plan/EC/CTO.
