Officials of the Delhi Fire Services Department said that the collapse of part of the wall took place at eight in the morning. Located in Rajendra Market, this MTNL building is ancient. Its 40 feet in length and about 10 feet in height had weakened the wall. There are also five feet high iron grills on this wall. The man buried under the debris of the wall does the cleaning work. But it was fortunate that if this accident had happened in the afternoon during the day, then a big accident could have happened. Due to not much movement of people in the market in the morning, a major accident was averted.
Let us know that two children had also died due to the collapse of a dilapidated building in the Sabzi Mandi area of North Delhi. At the same time, doing such old buildings daily has also become a cause of concern. But the civic agencies do not take any steps in time even after surveying such buildings.
