Corona Vaccine: Vaccination Resumed In 63 Private Hospitals In Mumbai

Mumbai Vaccination Resumed: COVID-19 Vaccination Figures Are Expected To Increase In Mumbai Right Now. However, The Relief Is That Corona Vaccine Vaccination Has Started Again In 62 Private Hospitals.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Received 235,000 Vaccine Doses On Sunday. The Civic Body Has Approved 62 Private Hospitals To Resume Vaccination Operations. These Were Among The 71 Private Hospitals Where The Operation Was Called Off Due To Lack Of Vaccination.

According To BMC Officials, The Remaining Nine Private Hospitals Will Also Buy The Vaccine Today. After Which They Will Be Allowed To Resume Vaccination Operations From Tuesday.

In The City, More Than 1.6 Million Citizens Have Been Vaccinated, Including Healthcare, And Front-Line Workers. Approximately 50,000 Citizens Have Been Vaccinated Daily In The City. But This Number Had Decreased Due To a Lack Of Vaccine Doses Last Week.

Meanwhile, BMC Said On Sunday That It Would Allow Private Hospitals To Set Up COVID-19 Vaccination Camps In Private Offices As Well. Speaking On The Tie-Up With Private Offices, Dr Mangala Gomare, Head Of BMC’s Public Health Department, Said, “We Will Allow Private Hospitals To Have Tie-Ups With Offices With More Than 100 Employees For Setting Up Vaccination Camps.” This Will Help Us To Include the Maximum Number Of Citizens In The Accepted Age Group. ”

Last Thursday, 25 Private Vaccination Centers Were Closed Due To Shortage. And By Friday, The Number Had Risen To Over 50. On Friday, Several Government Facilities Were Also Closed Due To a Lack Of Vaccine Doses, Due To More Than 50% Of The Vaccination Centers In The City Were Not Functioning.
