Night Curfew In Delhi Ended: It has been decided to remove the night curfew in the capital Delhi. DDMA agreed to remove the night curfew from Delhi in a meeting on Friday. Now the people of Delhi will have to pay fewer fines for not wearing masks and travelling standing in the bus and metro. Apart from this, the deadline for opening shops and restaurants has also been abolished. Now the restaurant or shop owner will open his institution late at night.
DDMA Decided To Lift Night Curfew In Delhi
DDMA has decided to remove the night curfew from the capital in a meeting held to review the corona infection. Apart from lifting the night curfew, many more restrictions have been relaxed for the people of Delhi. The amount of fines for not wearing a mask in Delhi has also been reduced.
Apart from this, people will stand and travel without any restriction in bus and metro. The most significant relief has been given to hotel and shop operators. Now the deadline for opening shops and restaurants in Delhi has been ended. Currently, the restaurant or shop owner will open his institution till late at night.
What is the benefit of lifting the night curfew?
The night curfew was in force in Delhi from 10 pm to 5 am. During this time, no one is allowed to leave the house without any reason. Due to this, people had to face trouble commuting to any function. Besides, hotels and restaurants were earlier allowed to open only with 50 per cent capacity. Due to this, the restaurant operators were facing heavy losses.
Restrictions were reduced one month ago.
Earlier on January 27, 2022, the Delhi government had relaxed the restrictions of Corona in the state. Then in the meeting of DDMA, a decision was taken to remove the weekend curfew from the capital. Along with this, the odd-even system was also removed from the markets. Due to this, all the shops started opening every day.
