Pakistani Food Festival Banner In Surat: There has been a massive uproar in a restaurant in Surat, Gujarat. A giant ‘Pakistani Food Festival‘ banner was taken down and set on fire. It is being told that activists of the right-wing ‘Bajrang Dal’ brought down a big banner of ‘Pakistani Food Festival’ to be organized in the restaurant and set it on fire. A senior official of Bajrang Dal gave this information. He has claimed that the restaurant has also done the work of admitting its mistake.

This banner was placed above the restaurant building located in the Ring Road area of Surat, Gujarat. After this, the workers of ‘Bajrang Dal’ arrived here. They took off the banner and set it on fire while chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram. It is being told that this festival was to be held in the ‘Test of India’ from December 12 to December 22.
What did Bajrang Dal say?
Giving information regarding the matter, Bajrang Dal’s South Gujarat unit president Deviprasad Dubey said that the workers took off the banner from the building. After that, it was set on fire. This was done because they are against this programme. He further said that we have ensured that this type of celebration will not be allowed in the restaurant. If such a festival is organized, we will take action against it.
The matter did not reach the police.
South Gujarat unit president Deviprasad Dubey said the restaurant had accepted its mistake. Sandeep Davar of ‘Sugar and Spice Restaurants’, which runs ‘Test of India’, has also reacted to the matter. He has said that he will continue to serve Mughlai cuisine and remove the word “Pakistani” from the program. This is because it hurts the feelings of some people. It is being told that no police case has been registered in this regard.
