The capital Patna is going to get another bus stand. Due to the increasing pressure of continuous traffic, there is a plan to build another bus stand in the capital, which has already started. There is a plan to build a new bus stand near AIIMS Patna in the capital. The process of land acquisition has also begun. With the construction of new bus stands, the total number of bus stands in the capital will increase to three, while the traffic load will also be exceeded.
Patna Will Get Third Bus Stand
The new bus stand will be spread over 17 acres, for which the land acquisition work is going on fast. More than 700 buses can be parked in this bus stand at a time. BUDCO has assured to restore all facilities for the passengers. Buses for many districts including Buxar, Bhabua, Vikramganj, Ara, Paliganj, Aurangabad, Sasaram will be operated from here from the new bus stand.
Let us inform you that more than 2000 buses ply daily from Patliputra Bus Stand of the capital. After the construction of the new bus stand, 400 buses will be shifted here. It is closed given the convenience of the passengers; this bus stand will have all kinds of state-of-the-art facilities. Buses will operate from here to significant places like Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Siliguri, Jaipur, Surat, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Varanasi, Kolkata. Buses travelling the same long-distance will continue to open from Bankipur bus stand.
