PM Narendra Modi Twitter Account Hack: The Twitter handle of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was hacked for some time on Sunday. Not only this, a tweet was made from this handle that India has “officially legalized bitcoin”. After this news tweet, various types of discussions started among the people. After this, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) clarified. It was said from the PMO that the account was immediately secured after taking up the matter with Twitter.

Twitter has stated the matter. It was said from Twitter that as soon as we got information about the breach in the account of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we became active immediately. According to what has come out from our investigation so far, there has been no indication of any other account being affected.

A Twitter spokesperson issued a statement saying that our services are open 24 hours, seven days for interaction with the Prime Minister’s Office. As soon as we were informed about the matter, our team took the necessary steps to secure the hacked account.

On behalf of the PMO, it was said that someone hacked the Twitter handle of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for some time. Twitter took the matter up, and work was done to secure the account immediately. Any tweets shared while the account has been hacked for some time should be ignored.

Special team to investigate a Twitter hack

The government has appointed a special team to investigate the Twitter hack, according to media reports. This team will work to detect hackers through the latest technology. It is being told that the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-IN) has been deployed to trace the hackers. The team is also trying to trace the source.

After the hack, the Twitter handle of PM Modi also claimed that India has officially bought 500 BTC and is distributing them among its residents, and a link was shared in this regard. After this, many users said that the account had been hacked.
