As the Bihar assembly elections are getting closer, the political enthusiasts are getting faster. On Tuesday, RJD suffered two significant setbacks. RGD national vice-president Raghuvansh Prasad Singh also resigned from his post after five legislators left the party. However, his resignation has not yet accepted by the party.
According to sources close to the RJD, he was upset with Rama Singh, a former Vaishali MP, joining the party. Rama had met Tejashwi Yadav only a few days back, and after that, it was believed that he would join the RJD. Rama is said to join the RJD on 29 June. Raghuvansh Prasad Singh was very angry with this.
Raghuvansh and Rama Singh, who were face to face in 2014, have been four times MP from Vaishali Lok Sabha seat on RJD ticket. In 2014 Raghuvansh contested the Lok Sabha elections on the RJD and Rama on the LJP ticket. Then Raghuvansh lost the election. Even before that election, there was political hostility between the two leaders. LJP did not give Rama a card in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The RJD had then tried to bring Rama into his court, but the party had to bow to the opposition of Raghuvansh.
Party Looking For Winning Candidate
Elections for Bihar assembly elections are scheduled in October-November this year. In such a situation, the RJD is searching for the winning candidate. This is the reason why RJD has made all preparations to bring Rama to the party. This thing is going on for Raghuvansh, and that is why he resigned as the vice president of the party.
RJD Has Big Upper Face Raghuvansh Prasad Singh

The Savarnas in their area were also sitting on a dharna against the booking.
