An incident of robbery and robbery has come to light on the train between Daulatabad and Potul railway station near Aurangabad in Maharashtra. This incident happened on the Devagiri Express train coming from Aurangabad to Mumbai. The robbers first covered the signal with clothes, attacked the train with stones and stopped the train. This is the second consecutive incident in the last few days. Twenty days ago, passengers were beaten up and robbed by similarly stopping the train at this place. At present, the police investigation of this entire matter is started. This incident which happened late at night today (April 22, Friday), has caused panic.

On Thursday, Devagiri Express left for Mumbai from Aurangabad station. Shortly after midnight, the train was stopped by tying a cloth at the signal near Potul railway station from around 12 to 1 pm. Meanwhile, stone pelting started on the train. Due to this sudden incident, the passengers did not understand anything.
Then some robbers entered the train and started looting at the point of knives. Meanwhile, some robbers continued to throw stones from outside. The passengers were in panic due to this sudden attack. The robbers specifically targeted the S5 to S9 boxes. During this, as soon as the passengers of the rest of the coaches understood the matter, they immediately closed the doors and windows of their coaches and saved themselves.
On 1 April 2022, Nandigram Express and Nanded-Manmad Passenger trains were stopped and looted with passengers. After this, the security was increased. But due to such an incident once again at midnight tonight, questions have been raised regarding the safety of railway passengers.
