Ranchi: The new test rate of RTPCR in Jharkhand has been fixed at Rs 300. At the same time, the investigator has to take 100 rupees for a home visit, even if there are many family members in a house. Arun Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department, has issued instructions.
It has been told that there is a steady decline in the rate of RTPCR, extraction and vitium kit, after which the testing rate in the state was reviewed. After review, it was decided to reduce the rate of Rs 400 to Rs 300. At the same time, the new rate for home collection has been fixed at Rs 100 instead of Rs 200.
RTPCR Test In Private Labs Of Jharkhand
This order has been implemented with immediate effect. The rate of rapid antigen tests in private hospitals and labs has been reduced from Rs 150 to Rs 50. This new rate is also applicable with immediate effect. The investigation includes PPE kits and all types of taxes.
With the new rate fixed, it will be easier for the state’s people to get tested in private labs. Information about the determination of the new test has been given to all the Deputy Commissioners, Civil Surgeons, all the private hospital managements and lab operators of the state. The government has made it clear that if anyone violates the prescribed rate, action will be taken against him. At the same time, private lab operators have opposed the government’s decision.
