A big news has come out in Aryan Khan drugs case. Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede will no longer investigate the case against Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan. Sources told India Today that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the NCB will reach Mumbai from Delhi today (Saturday) to handle the six cases, which were earlier being probed by the Mumbai unit headed by Regional Director Samir Wankhede.

Sanjay Kumar Singh, a 1996 batch IPS officer and Deputy Director General (DDG) of NCB, is heading the SIT. Now the SIT under the leadership of Sanjay will investigate these drug cases.
This team will investigate 6 cases
NCB’s SIT which will now investigate Aryan drugs case and 5 other cases. NCB team is reaching Mumbai today. SIT Head and DDG Operation Sanjay Singh himself is reaching Mumbai today with his team. NCB officials are reaching Mumbai from 11 to 12 o’clock today by Air India flight.
A team of NCB will investigate the drugs cruise case related to Aryan Khan. Apart from this, the same special investigation team will also investigate the case related to Nawab Malik’s son-in-law Sameer Khan. Armaan Kohli, who was recently arrested in the drugs case, will investigate the Special Investigation Team. Apart from this, there are three more cases related to drugs, whose investigation has been transferred from Sameer Wankhede to a new team.
Statements can be re-recorded
Sources say that the SIT will first take over the papers of the case. Then it will investigate and if needed, can also re-record the statements of some people in this case.
Deputy Director General of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) South-Western Region Mutha Ashok Jain told the media late on Friday evening, “A total of 6 cases of our zone will now be investigated by NCB Delhi teams, in which Aryan Khan’s case and 5 more. cases are also involved. It was an administrative decision.”
At the same time, on withdrawing from the investigation of the case, Sameer Wankhede said, “I have not been removed from the investigation. My writ petition in the court was that the investigation of the matter should be done by some central agency. Hence the investigation of Aryan case and Sameer Khan case by Delhi NCB. The SIT is doing this. It is a coordination between the NCB teams of Delhi and Mumbai.”
