SBI Bank Robbery in Dahisar Mumbai: On Wednesday evening, some miscreants entered the State Bank of India branch located in the Dahisar area of Mumbai and opened fire to do so looting. In this, a bank employee was severely injured and died during treatment. The security guard of the bank was injured in this firing.

A CCTV video of the incident has also surfaced, in which the robbers are seen entering the bank and firing. The accused miscreants fled after looting a bag containing Rs 2.5 lakh. Within 12 hours of the incident, the police arrested both the accused. The weapon used in the crime has also been recovered from them.

According to Additional Commissioner of Police Praveen Padwal, two masked men entered the bank at 3.25 pm on Wednesday in the State Bank located on SV Road, Dahisar, within the limits of MHB police station. Near Sandesh Gomane (25), present near the cash counter in the bank, both the miscreants tried to lift the bags full of cash kept on the counter. When Sandesh wanted to stop him, a miscreant opened fire in the chest of Sandesh with a pistol.

The injured second accomplice tried to fire at the security guard present in the bank, but he narrowly escaped. The miscreants also injured him by hitting him with a weapon. After both the employees were injured, the miscreants took the bags kept on the counter and fled on foot towards Mira Road.
As soon as the incident information was received, the police team of the entire zone, including Additional Commissioner of Police Praveen Padwal and DCP Vishal Thakur of North Mumbai Territorial Department, reached the spot.

The investigation police said that the deceased Sandesh was a resident of Gomane Virar. He was working as a private employee in the bank. He was admitted to Shatabdi Hospital in an injured condition, where he died. The security guard is being treated.
Eight teams of police were formed to investigate the incident of robbery, which was analysed based on CCTV footage in different places of Mumbai. However, the police arrested both the accused, showing speed. In a short time, after holding a press conference of the police, will reveal more in this matter.
