Wherein Section-144 has been imposed in Mumbai. The government has completely banned any rally, march or procession on weekends, i.e. Saturday and Sunday, i.e. 11 and 12 December.

According to the report of India Today, sources in Mumbai Police said that there are two reasons behind imposing a curfew. The first was that Asaduddin Owaisi’s rally would be held in Mumbai, but due to increasing infection, the police did not give permission for this rally. On the other hand, Owaisi’s party AIMIM is still intent on rallying.

On the other hand, Shiv Sena’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut had expressed apprehension of conspiracy behind the death of CDS General Bipin Rawat and other officers. They lost their lives in the recent helicopter crash. BJP is opposing his statement and is preparing to protest. Mumbai Police says that after implementing Section 144, if anyone conducts a rally, procession, foot march or demonstration, then action will be taken against him.
