UPTET Paper Leak Case: Secretary Sanjay Upadhyay Did A Big Deal

UPTET Paper Leak Case: TET paper was leaked in UP last week. The state government had handed over the investigation of this matter to the UP STF. During this investigation, now a considerable disclosure has come to light. It is said that there was a big deal between Sanjay Upadhyay, the secretary examination regulator of UP and the company that printed the TET paper. After which, Sanjay Upadhyay gave the contract to print the paper to this company without taking out the tender.

Was the deal done in Noida’s 5-star hotel?

According to Aaj Tak reporter Santosh Sharma, on October 23, there were a deal worth crores with RSM Finserve, the paper printing company of Secretary Examination Regulator Sanjay Upadhyay. This deal was done by Sanjay Upadhyay himself with Rai Anoop Prasad, owner of RSM Finserve at Radisson Hotel in Noida.

After this, on October 26, the contract to print the paper was given to RSM Finserve secretly without any tender being floated. According to the UP STF, the total value of this order was Rs 13 crore.

No arrangement for printing yet got the contract.

According to Aaj Tak reporter Santosh Sharma, such a big contract was given to RSM Finserve, while it did not have any arrangement for paper printing. For this reason, RSM Finserve awarded this contract to four small printing presses. There are two printing presses in Delhi, one in Noida and one in Kolkata.

It is said that even in these four printing presses, there was no system of security printing. Not only this but security standards were also ignored to bring the paper printed in Kolkata’s press. And the exam papers were loaded in an ordinary truck and sent to Rai Anoop Prasad’s company.

Sanjay and Anoop are old friends.

In the interrogation of UP STF so far, it has been found that Rai Anoop Prasad is a resident of Gorakhpur, and he has been living in Delhi for the last 20 years. In Delhi, he works to conduct online exams. During interrogation, it has also been found that Anoop and Sanjay Upadhyay are old friends. Their friendship started when Sanjay Prasad was the principal of the Diet of Gautam Buddha Nagar. Due to this friendship, Sanjay Upadhyay gave the contract to print TET paper to Anoop’s company.

Further action of UP STF

UP STF has got the CCTV footage of the meeting between Sanjay Upadhyay and Rai Anoop Prasad at Hotel Radisson in Noida. From these two accused who have been sent to jail, now UP is engaged in gathering information about the amount of STF deal.

She is also trying to find out whether there were similar deals between Sanjay Upadhyay and Rai Anoop Prasad in the past. A team of STF is also questioning the owners of the four printing presses who were given the contract to print the paper by RSM Finserve.
