Share Market Closing In Green Mark On Fourth Consecutive Day


The Share Market closed on the green mark after the day’s ups and downs on Thursday, the fourth trading day of the week. The Bombay Stock Exchange’s flagship index Sensex ended 997.46 points, or 3.05 percent, at 33717.62. At the same time, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed at 9859.90 with a gain of 306.55 points, or 3.21 percent.

It was the case of heavyweight stocks. If we talk about heavyweights, today, Tata Motors, UPL, ONGC, Vedanta Limited, Hindalco, JSW Steel, HCL Tech, Hero MotoCorp, Infratel, and GAIL closed on the green mark. The shares of Hindustan Unilever, Sun Pharma, Cipla, Asian Paints, IndusInd Bank, and ITC closed at the red dot.

Due To Growth In Share Market

  • The US Fed has not made any changes in interest rates. Interest rates will be close to zero. The US Fed’s emphasis will be on ending unemployment and controlling inflation.
  • Talking about global markets, all the US markets closed on Wednesday. Its impact was visible on the domestic Share Market today. The US Dow Jones gained 2.21 percent to 532.31 points at 24,633.90. The Nasdaq closed up 306.98 points at 8,914.71, up 3.57 percent.
  • The S&P closed up 76.12 points at 2,939.51, up 2.66 percent. The Shanghai Composite of China closed 1.85 percent higher at 2,853.71, up 1.11 percent. Also, the markets of France, Italy, and Germany recorded an increase.
  • The Share Market expects another relief package from the government. The government may soon give a big relief package. Recently, the measures are taken by the Reserve Bank regarding liquidity also supported the market.

Take a look at the sectoral index. If we look at the sectoral index, today, all the sectors, except the media and pharma, closed at the edge. These include realty, metal, IT, PSU banks, FMCG, auto, banks, and private banks.


The Share Market remained so throughout the day; today, the stock market opened on the fourth trading day of the week. The Sensex started with a gain of 2.01 percent, up 658.08 points at 33378.24. At the same time, the Nifty opened at the level of 9748.55, up 195.20 points with a gain of 2.04 percent. After this, the Sensex had reached 799.14 points, or 2.44 percent, at 33519.30 level after 2.46 pm. The Nifty was trading at 9805.45 levels after gaining 252.10 points.

The Market Closed On The Green Mark On Wednesday

The Share Market closed on the green mark on Wednesday after day-long fluctuations. The Sensex closed at the level of 32720.16 with a gain of 605.64 points, or 1.89 percent. At the same time, the Nifty closed at the level of 9553.35 with an increase of 172.45 points, or 1.84 percent.
