In many states of India, especially Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, SSLC is given to students to complete secondary level education.

In the southern states of India, such as Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, whenever students get education up to Secondary Level (Class 10th), they are given Secondary School Leaving Certificate, which is usually called SSLC. It is called the ‘Secondary School Leaving Certificate’.


In these states, the students of class 10th have an SSLC exam, students who pass the SSLC exam are given SSLC certificate.

In these states, if a student has SSLC, then it is known that this student has completed education up to class 10. Upon receiving this certificate, the student is deemed to have completed primary education.

If a student wants to take admission in any educational institution after getting education up to the Secondary level, he needs SSLC. For this reason, SSLC is an essential document for students.
