Supreme Court Angry Over the Sale of Firecracker Despite the Ban

Diwali Firecracker Ban: Despite the ban, the Supreme Court has expressed displeasure at the central and state governments over the sale of firecrackers. The Supreme Court said that you (government) could not play with the rights and health of others. The hearing on the firecracker ban case was held in the Supreme Court on Thursday.

The court said that we had approved only green crackers during the hearing, but everything is available in the market. The Supreme Court said that we are sitting to protect the rights of the people. The central and state agencies should strictly follow the order. You cannot play with the lives of citizens.

The Supreme Court further said that everyone knows how the law enforcement agencies are in our country. Why are the ordinary firecracker factories not shut down? The court noted that all states would have to implement a ban on banned firecrackers. Even today, there are crackers in the market. The court said that everyone knows the condition of enforcing the court’s order in this country. What message goes when the order of the Supreme Court is not implemented?

The Supreme Court made it clear that there is no complete ban on firecrackers. That is, people can use green crackers, but still banned firecrackers are available in the market. Explain that the court has banned the production and use of polluting firecrackers. The hearing of the case will continue tomorrow, i.e. on Friday as well.

The Supreme Court said that some responsibility should be assigned to those officers who have been empowered to implement the order at the ground level. Even today, firecrackers are freely available in the market. The court said that we want to give the message that we are here to protect the rights of the people. We have not banned firecrackers 100%. Everyone knows what is happening to the people of Delhi (due to the pollution caused by firecrackers).
