Delhi Police Special Cell on Thursday searched a house in Delhi’s Seemapuri area where a suspicious bag was found. In which IED has been confirmed. All the officers have reached the spot. At the same time, NSG is also present on the spot. According to the information, in the house where the Special Cell has searched, a sealed pack of suspicious items was found in a bag; after investigation, IED was found in it, which will now be taken by the NSG team to the open park where it will be destroyed.
Suspicious Bag Found From Home In Seemapuri
It is being told that 3-4 boys live on rent in the room from where the bag was found, who is currently absconding. While investigating the RDX case in Ghazipur, Delhi, the Special Cell team reached the house of the Seemapuri area of Delhi. Where they found this suspicious bag, in such a situation, the sealed pack of suspicious items present in the bag were separated from that bag and shifted to another bag. During the investigation, it is being said that there is an IED in it.
IED bomb was found in January
Earlier, an IED bomb was found recently outside gate number one of Ghazipur Phool Mandi in Delhi, which has been disabled. It was told that a conspiracy was hatched in Delhi for a big blast in such a situation. There was a recce of the entire area, and after collecting every input, preparations were made to carry out this attack.
Talking about this incident, Delhi Police had received a PCR call on January 14, at 10.20 am. It was told that there is a suspicious bag in the Ghazipur area which contains a bomb. After the information, the police of the site and the team of Special Cell reached the spot. After this, the group of NSG and the bomb disposal team also went.
During the investigation, information was received about the presence of IED in the bag, after which a big pit was dug through JCB, and then the bomb was defused.
