Whether it is to install CCTV at that place, activate the Pink Booth, run Romeo Squad or make separate means of transport for their arrival. In this episode, Andhra Pradesh has created a special effort to give equal status to women. ‘She Auto Stand‘ has been set up to provide a fear-free environment for women auto drivers. Three ‘She Auto Stand’ have been made in the state.
Three She Auto Stand In Chittoor
These stand has been made keeping in view the safety of women drivers. These three stands have been built in Chittoor, where women will be able to operate their autos on their own. Let us tell you; that all these stands have been constructed near RTC Bus Stand, near Mahila Vishwavidyalaya and Rua Hospital.
These three She Auto Stands have been inaugurated jointly by MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, City Mayor Dr R Sirisha and Urban Superintendent Venkata Appala Naidu.
The aim is to protect women.
According to SP Naidu, making these ‘She Auto’ stands gives safe transportation to women so that women can travel from one place to another without any fear. SP Naidu says, “Tirupati has thus become the first place to set up a unique auto stand for women. Women have been given a special place in society by setting up auto stands at RTC bus stand in Tirupati, Mahila Vishwavidyalaya and Rua Hospital. Earlier, women auto drivers used to park their autos and men at other auto stands.
Let us tell you; earlier, women had to park autos alongside men. Now they will have their own separate space, where they will be able to stand them.
