The new CM also claimed that parents wearing torn jeans set a ‘bad example’ for children in the home and, at the same time, such behaviour also ‘promotes the use of drugs’.

The BJP leader said- “Now values ​​are being given to show bare knees by wearing torn jeans to look like rich children, which is a race towards westernisation whereas today the western world is following us. Parents are wearing ripped jeans setterriblebad example for children.

Women leaders criticise

Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan said that ‘such a statement does not suit the CM of a state and he cannot decide with clothes who is cultured and who is not. The former actress said that ‘this is terrible thinking which encourages crimes against women today.

The same Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi and TMC MP Mahua Moitra has also lashed out at her statements via Twitter.
