According to the police, the thieves riding Scorpio have carried out the theft from a truck stuck in a traffic jam. According to the report of Satyam Mishra associated with Aaj Tak, the driver of the truck, Hem Singh Rawat, while giving information about the incident, said, ‘It is an incident between 12.30 and 1 o’clock in the night.
At that time, there was a jam on Shaheed Path, due to which the truck was moving slowly; some people were riding in a black colour Scorpio behind the truck; they climbed the truck from behind and cut the belt and left the fighter plane. Stole a wheel. According to Hem Singh Rawat, it was too late when he came to know about this incident. However, he immediately informed the police.

According to the information, five tires of the Miraj fighter plane were being sent from Bakshi Talab airbase in Lucknow to Jodhpur airbase in Rajasthan in this truck. Thieves stole one of the tires of the aircraft.
Amit Kumar, DCP East of Lucknow Police, told Aaj Tak,
“A case under section 379 has been registered in this matter. According to the driver, the incident took place on Shaheed Path, and we are also interrogating many suspicious people in this. The police are now scanning all the CCTV cameras installed around Shaheed Path so that those involved can be arrested and action can be taken at the earliest.
Airforce arrests truck driver
According to the report of Aaj Tak, after this incident of theft, when Hem Singh Rawat reached Jodhpur airbase with the remaining four tires, the Air Force police took him into custody. The army fears that the tire of the fighter plane has not been stolen under the conspiracy of some enemy. Officials say that the tire cannot be used anywhere other than the plane. His being stolen in this way is becoming a cause for suspicion.
