In Bihar, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has continued the protest of the candidates for the third consecutive day alleging rigging in the RRB NTPC CBT 2 and Group D CBT 1 examinations. At many places, students set fire to trains even today. Yesterday, there was a stir in Patna, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Ara, Buxar.
On Tuesday, in Sitamarhi, the mob that was vandalizing and pelting stones was removed by the police by firing in the air. Given the massive protests, the Railways had announced the postponement of the NTPC and Group D (Category-1) examinations on Wednesday morning. Still, even after the Railways’ decision, the students’ anger has not stopped, and there is a boil in the whole of Bihar.

Today in Gaya, too, the students created a stir. Students pelted stones on a moving train in Gaya railway station premises. On the other hand, the agitated students set the passenger train parked in the yard on fire. The fire brigade team is about to reach to extinguish the fire in the bogies of the burning train.

Many police forces are present on the spot, but the police seem to be losing control over the agitated students in front of the agitated students. Furious students have targeted many trains. The students have badly damaged the Shramjeevi Express.
During this, agitated students set fire to the bogie of Bhabua-Patna Intercity Express. The police used force to disperse the students, but the students were creating stirs from time to time and also threw stones at the police. RPF and Rapid Action Force personnel, including Gaya SSP Aditya Kumar, are also present.

Students protested in the morning in Jehanabad by stopping the Patna-Gaya passenger train at Jehanabad station. Students hoisted the flag on the railway track and sang the national anthem. Students allege that there has been a large-scale discrepancy in the results of Railways, RRB and NTPC. Also demanded the removal of CB-2 among the students.
RRB NTPC CBT 2 and Group D CBT 1 exam postponed
The Railway Recruitment Board has decided to postpone the RRB NTPC CBT 2 and Group D CBT 1 exams following the furious protests by the students in UP-Bihar. Along with this, the board has also constituted a committee with the volunteers of the students, which will reconsider the results. After this, the examinations will be conducted again.
