Suman Debnath Claims To Buy Land On The Moon
Talking to the media, Suman said that when he learned that many people had bought land on the Moon, he became curious about it. He also searched the internet to understand this and realized that ILLR is the agency that is registering the Moon land. He says that initially, he stopped himself from doing this.
Because they believed that the prices would be too high and out of their reach, but later they searched the internet and found that the prices were not as high as they expected.
He said, ‘I had to spend Rs 6,000, including shipping and PDF charges for one acre of moon land. This is the International Lunar Society which deals with the land of the Moon. I don’t think anyone in my state has done this before.
I am thrilled.’ Suman Debnath, a young teacher by profession, said, ‘In this deal, I have realized that land prices on the Moon are much lower than the prices on Earth here.’ The land registration on his Moon has been done, and his hardcopy will reach him soon. The location of the land is mentioned in the property registration certificate.
According to the certificate, the land is located in ‘Mare Nubium’. The diameter of ‘Mare Nubium’ is 750 km, and it is considered one of the oldest circular valleys on the Moon. It is a dark field located in the third quadrant of the face of the Moon.
He said, ‘The land on the Moon is divided into plots, and there were tiny plots left when I searched. I did not delay in buying the ground for a while. I have no plans to build a house there and live on the Moon. Though it is nice to have my land on the Moon, my parents are happy.
Sushant Singh Rajput was the first Bollywood star to have bought a piece of lunar land on the far side of the Moon, called Mare Muscoviennes, or the “Sea of Muscovy”. The actor had a great telescope named ‘Mead 14 LX600’.
He used to see the land bought on the Moon from his home on earth. The actor had purchased the property from the International Lunar Lands Registry, making him the first Bollywood actor to do so, although Shah Rukh Khan had already been gifted a piece on the Moon by a fan.
