According to the website Cricbuzz, both the boards have told the BCCI that they have no problem allowing their players to play the remaining matches of the league. The remaining games of the 14th season of the league will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 19 to October 15.
This was confirmed when the BCCI informed the franchises about this. IPL COO Hemang Amin called all the franchises on Friday and informed them about the decision of both the boards. Now it is up to the players whether they want to participate or not. The BCCI official has told the teams that the players will be present till the end of the tournament. Before these two boards, New Zealand Cricket had also made it clear that its players would also be current for the remaining matches of IPL 14.

Kashi Viswanathan, CEO of three-time winners Chennai Super Kings, who has reached Dubai, told Cricbuzz, “We got a call from the IPL office and told that the boards have no problem with their players participating. Punjab Kings CEO Satish Menon has also said that he has received confirmation from the BCCI. He said, “We have been informed about the clearance. Now the team manager will personally contact the players. Punjab Kings team has three Australian players in the form of Reilly Meredith, Moises Henriques and Jhye Richardson, while England’s Chris Jordan and David Malan are also in Punjab’s team.

Sunrisers David Warner has made it clear that he will take part in the league. England’s Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow are in this team. Steve Smith and Marcus Stoinis, who play for Delhi Capitals, have also made it clear that they will play. A total of 14 players from England and 20 players from Australia are included in IPL 2021.
