Danish Kaneria Case Caught Fire, Shoaib Akhtar Came On Backfoot

These days former Pakistani cricketers Shoaib Akhtar, Danish Kaneria, and Mohammad Yusuf are in the limelight. This case is related to a TV program of Shoaib Akhtar, popularly known as ‘Rawalpindi Express’, in which he said that some cricketers of Pakistani team discriminated against Danish Kaneria as being Hindu.

After this, Mohammad Yousuf criticized Shoaib Akhtar by tweeting. Yusuf wrote, ‘I condemn the comments made about discrimination against minority players in Pakistan team. I have been a member of the team. I have received a lot of love and support from the team, management, and fans.

After this controversy went viral, Shoaib Akhtar gave a clarification on his YouTube channel. In the 10:09 minute video, he said that his purpose is to make society better by speaking good things, but a huge controversy has been created. He spoke on the reason for the dispute.

Shoaib Akhtar said, ‘I wanted to see how people react. However, Masha Allah, you gave a good reaction to my statement and spread the wrong news.

He said, ‘I did not say what I said in the Danish Kaneria case as’ team culture’. This is not our team’s code of conduct, but one or two players, who did so. There are one or two such players all over the world who make racial remarks.

Shoaib Akhtar said, ‘I connect with society. I myself felt that this matter should strictly suppress there. Therefore, I dealt with those players strictly and said that if I say such a thing again, I will pick it up and throw it out.

He said, ‘This is not our culture. To prove this, a second friend of mine was also sitting there. He said that Shoaib is saying absolutely right and you should not do such a thing at all.
